General contractor, Herman/Stewart Construction of Lanham, Md., approached Laminators Inc. regarding its interest in using Omega-Lite ACM panels for two Columbia Sportswear locations. Both Columbia projects, located in California and Nevada, specifically entailed cladding for their interior mall storefronts. Omega-Lite, known for its usage in exterior applications, offers a decorative, strong and durable surface finish making it an ideal option for Columbia’s storefronts.
Las Vegas Premium Outlets in the heart of Nevada is home to hundreds of designer retailers, and newly added to the store map is Columbia Sportswear. The Original Roofing Co. in Las Vegas installed 345 square feet of Bright Silver Metallic Omega-Lite panels. Also involved in the project was New York-based architect, Kenneth Park Architects of New York, N.Y.
Great Mall in Milpitas, Calif., is the largest indoor outlet and value shopping destination in Northern California. Hundreds of well-known retailers line the inside of the mall, including Columbia Sportswear Co. Architectural Building Products of Buffalo, N.Y., distributed 1,400 square feet of Omega-Lite panels in Bright Silver Metallic to installer, Rua & Son Mechanical of Lincoln, Calif.
Laminators’ aluminum composite panels set the tone for the storefront, while Columbia Sportswear’s high-quality products set the tone for the inside.
