“LightFair offers so many chances for lighting professionals to get involved and give back to the industry,” says Dan Darby, show director. “Whether it’s educating current and future professionals on what’s new in lighting or showing new designers and specifiers around the show floor, being part of LightFair is a great professional opportunity and fulfilling experience.”
Conference Updates and Call for Speakers
LightFair is currently accepting proposals for the 2023 edition of the LightFair Conference, now led by the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES). The Conference celebrates the multi-disciplinary approach of the lighting industry through five broad programming themes: Business, Science, Process, Art and Technology.
The Conference will offer 60-minute courses and 3-hour workshops as well as 1-day and 2-day courses in the Pre-Conference. Additionally, through IES Live and IALD Designery presentations, speakers will have additional opportunities for exhibit-floor extensions of Conference presentations.
Applicants are encouraged to think outside-the-box with their presentation format and delivery. Presenters at the 2023 LightFair Conference will be compensated for their time and will see additional opportunities for networking with audience members.
