B.E.G. Controls has introduced the back to basics Unsystem. It is a stand alone room solution consisting of three components; a MINI sensor, a dimming power pack and a momentary switch. With this set up, the Unsystem provides advanced solutions, including daylight harvesting and plug load control. The MINI sensor, the core of the Unsystem, was honored by the IES with its inclusion in their “2017 Progress Report”.

Now, B.E.G. Controls is taking simplicity to the next level with the introduction of RATIO. RATIO is an architectural solution for scene control. RATIO, like the Unsystem, uses three components; a FLAT sensor, a power supply and a matchbook size push button controller.

Less than a millimeter thick, the FLAT sensor is a flat occupancy sensor/photocell. The power supply can be installed on the first fixture receiving power and the push button controller fits in a single gang switch box and utilizes any style of momentary switch from any manufacturer.

RATIO can control as many as 35 LED fixtures utilizing intelligent drivers into four different groups or scenes. No longer are you required to have a complicated wall controller. RATIO allows you to use any style of momentary switch or push button control, putting the look of the wall station in the hands of the interior designer and not a product engineer.

The scenes on a RATIO solution can be programmed using Bluetooth on any smartphone or tablet with an app from B.E.G. Controls.

Although designed as a single space solution, the components of the RATIO solution can be integrated into a fully networked system by B.E.G. Controls or into systems from other manufacturers.
