Bella-Dura has announced that after two years of textile research and development it is unveiling its latest development, IMO certification.
Bella-Dura patterns treated with the IMO finish pass the requirements for IMO certification, and are eligible to carry the wheel mark indicating so. As such, they comply with the standards required for use by the U.S. Coast Guard, Canada and Europe.
“We are thrilled to be able to offer our solution dyed, anti-microbial, stain and fade resistant textiles to cruise ships and the maritime market,” says Ari Gasner, president of Wearbest Sil-Tex Mills, parent company of Bella-Dura. “As we focus on the indoor/outdoor category, we strive to offer the marketplace with something different at every turn,” he adds. “Our IMO finish expands our offerings of performance to the maritime market.”
