For the ninth year, Danfoss, a manufacturer of high-efficiency electronic and mechanical components and controls for air-conditioning, heating, refrigeration, industrial, and water systems, sponsored and participated in the 2016 Energy Efficiency Global Forum.
John Galyen, president, Danfoss North America, served as a panelist on one of EE Global’s plenary sessions—Doubling Energy Productivity Through Government Leadership, which highlighted international efforts to advance energy efficiency and double energy productivity, and discussed the potential for energy productivity to play a role in achieving the Paris agreement. He was joined by panelists Dr. Fatih Birol, executive director, International Energy Agency; Kateri Callahan, president, Alliance to Save Energy; Mark Kenber, CEO, The Climate Group; and Rachel Kyte, CEO, Sustainable Energy for All (SE4All).
Mark Menzer, director of public affairs, Danfoss North America, also participated in EE Global 2016, moderating an Executive Dialogue Session on increasing energy efficiency through connected systems.
