Universal Lighting Technologies Inc. has introduced its PWA Series of digital LED drivers with wireless programmability. Designed for the smart fixture, the PWA driver uses auxiliary output power for luminaires with analog dimming controls, making it ideal for commercial spaces such as offices, conference rooms and other indoor linear lighting applications.
Its EVERset software program and handheld configuration tool allow designers to customize PWA driver parameters, such as minimum and maximum output currents, dimming curves, dimming control voltages and a dim-to-off command. Specific configurations can then be saved for production use. The driver can be programmed wirelessly through Near Field Communication (NFC) and is compatible with standard 0-10V analog dimming control signals in the field.
The LED driver is UL Class P listed and designed in the same output power range and form factors as the TZ and TW families. Available in 30W, 55W and 80W, the PWA driver features Class 2 output and 12 Volts DC (12Vdc) or 24Vdc auxiliary output power options.
