This month holds significance for EduMind, an online review course provider, as it marks 15 years of business for the company.
In 2004, EduMind began offering online review courses for individuals preparing to obtain their professional engineering license. Beginning with one course, a Professional Engineering (PE) Civil exam prep course, the business has proven itself as a market leader throughout its time in operation.
“When we started, we only had 10 students in our first class session,” Vinod Dega, CEO and president of EduMind, says. “When we first began business, our founding vision was to provide quality review courses to help engineers pass their licensing examinations.”
Since 2004, EduMind has experienced growth. Now, the company offers over 20 engineering licensure exam prep courses, which are under its School of PE division, as well as prep courses for project management and IT examinations. According to Dega, on a given peak day, EduMind hosts over 3,000 students on its online learning platform.
Dega accounts its success to a variety of things, from the hard-working and dedicated management team, to EduMind’s Information Management System learning platform. Of all things, he mostly credits the growth to EduMind’s students.
“Most of our students now come through word of mouth. The satisfaction of our students drives us to continually provide them the best learning opportunities possible,” Dega says. “Because of our dedicated students, the exposure has given us enough experience to conduct courses for other professions also.”
One of the newest courses EduMind is able to now offer due to its evolution is a prep course that focuses on the ARE 5.0 exam. Being launched July 8, 2019, the course was planned to begin around the anniversary to commence the occasion.
“There’s a lot of anticipation and enthusiasm in the office around the launching of our brand new ARE 5.0 course,” Chris Miller, associate vice president, states. “I’m thrilled to branch out into architecture. We’ve mastered engineering within the past 15 years, so I’m excited to integrate the success from the engineering world into the architectural world.”
“We still have a lot of room to grow and we will continue to grow. Our new goal is to provide a lifelong learning experience through EduMind. We would like EduMind to continually evolve into a home brand,” states Dega.
