New LG Indoor Split Compact Dedicated Outdoor Air System (DOAS) enables building owners and facility managers to efficiently condition outside air for improved indoor air quality and comfort, without sacrificing flexibility, reliability or ease of integration.

Designed for compatibility with LG Multi V outdoor units, LG’s Indoor Split Compact DOAS integrates with LG Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) controls for efficient vertical alignment of DOAS, VRF and controls. When combined with LG Multi V 5 heat recovery units, new LG DOAS provides variable speed and energy efficient operation by reducing compressor loads, leading to energy and operation cost-savings and LEED building certification eligibility. LG Split Compact DOAS is available in two nominal airflows—1500 and 2000 CFM—and for applications requiring lower outdoor airflow, direct drive electronically commutated motor (ECM) implementation enables extended cubic feet per minute (CFM) range down to 1000. For further improved indoor air quality and comfort, LG Split Compact DOAS arrive packed with Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value (MERV) 8 filters.

Arriving with built-in heat recovery units, installation is easy and less labor intensive, and modules can be combined with multiple DOAS modules—up to four—enabling operation at different conditions, leading to reduced air duct runs, fan sizes, piping and low voltage wiring. With web-based configuration and monitoring capabilities, the Split Compact DOAS utilizes a user interface that is simple, allowing for ease of set-up, use and monitoring for the system itself and paired outdoor units.
