Phifer Inc. has introduced a new color addition to the SunTex 95 exterior sun control fabric family.
Stucco, joins the range of nine neutral color options in this fabric collection designed for exterior roller shade applications. Made from vinyl-coated polyester, SunTex 95 is lighter weight than traditional SunTex fabrics and is a full basketweave. Another color, Carbon, was added.
Blocking approximately 95 percent of the sun’s rays, SunTex 95 offers increased heat and glare control for a more comfortable outdoor environment. By reducing the sun’s penetration to interior rooms, these shades can lower cooling demand and reduce energy consumption.
SunTex 95 fabrics are infused with Microban antimicrobial product protection for an added level of defense against microbes such as mold and mildew that can damage the shades. Added during the manufacturing process, Microban protection works for the lifetime of the shade to inhibit the growth of stain- and odor-causing bacteria, mold and mildew. For additional peace of mind, SunTex 95 fabrics are also certified to GREENGUARD standards for low chemical emissions into indoor air during product usage.
SunTex 95 is available in 126-inch width and is mildew and fade resistant.
