Douglas Lighting Controls, a member of the Panasonic family of companies, has introduced the Intelligent Fixture Sensor (IFS) and Intelligent Fixture Controller (IFC) to its lighting products portfolio.
Designed for Luminaire Level Lighting Controls (LLLC), the IFS units can be deployed as independent, fixture-mounted occupancy and daylight sensors. As an alternative, they can be networked with the Dialog controllers and other devices in the Dialog ecosystem, including wall station switches, load controllers and low voltage ceiling mount sensors, to create a complete Bluetooth wireless lighting control system.
The IFS and IFC provide full wireless control capability to suitably equipped, host luminaires. These devices are intended to work with companion LED drivers having auxiliary power output, 0-10V dimming and Dim-to-Off capability. The IFS includes an occupancy sensor and a daylight sensor. Both products support single and dual-channel 0-10V dimming. Their compact mechanical design fits into industry standard ½-inch electrical knockouts. A Design-In guide has been developed to help partners embed this solution in their fixtures.
