The Garland Co. has announced it renewed its ISO certification through the year 2021.
At Garland, the goal is to benefit the customer. Its focus on quality control is passed on to customers through reduced liability, continual improvement of products and services, and solutions that will stand the test of time.
ISO 9001 monitors Garland’s ability to meet pre-established standards for quality in research; production; quality control; and services related to its roofing products, and it is the worldwide standard for quality system excellence. Garland currently holds an ISO 9001:2008 certification.
The ISO 9000 family addresses various aspects of quality management and contains some of ISO’s best known standards. The standards provide guidance and tools for companies and organizations who want to ensure that their products and services meet customers’ requirements, and that quality is improved.
This standard is based on a number of quality management principles including customer focus; the motivation and implication of top management; the process approach and continual improvement.
