Ingersoll Rand Acquires Energy Supply Procurement and Management Company

Ingersoll Rand has acquired Fellon-McCord & Associates LLC, an energy supply procurement and management services company based in Louisville, Ky.

Fellon-McCord offers more than 20 years of experience serving commercial, industrial, institutional and government customers. Fellon-McCord offerings will be added to the Trane energy services and controls portfolio and expand Trane capabilities for supply-side energy management. Trane is a leading global provider of indoor comfort solutions and services and a brand of Ingersoll Rand.

“We are excited about the expanded opportunities our combined expertise will bring to our customers. Fellon-McCord’s over 20 years expertise of supply-side energy management complements the over 100 years of Trane’s energy demand side capabilities,” said David Regnery, president, Trane North America, Europe, Middle East and Africa. “Last year, Trane made a significant commitment to its Energy Services and Controls business, creating a dedicated organization of facility management experts. The addition of Fellon-McCord is a continuation of our commitment to providing the most comprehensive and relevant energy services offering to our customers.”

“Fellon-McCord and Trane truly complement one another, both from a business and a cultural perspective,” said Drew Fellon, founder and president of Fellon-McCord. “We know that our customers truly want an integrated and comprehensive energy management offering so they can maximize the productivity, efficiency and comfort of their facilities.”

Fellon-McCord will become part of the Trane Commercial Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) strategic business unit of Ingersoll Rand. Drew Fellon will remain the president of Fellon-McCord.
