Super Bright LEDs has announced the arrival of LED can light replacements and architectural retrofit LED downlights. The LED lights are available in a variety of sizes and wattages for applications ranging from retail, commercial, grocery store, hospital, and auditorium lighting to bathroom, basement, and kitchen lighting. Can light replacements have integral junction boxes with round and square knockouts, and architectural downlights are equipped with driver enclosure boxes. These LED lights can be wired to code and are IC rated for safe contact with insulation.
Junction-box LED downlights are designed to replace 4-, 6-, or 8-inch incandescent or halogen can lights while consuming only a fraction of the energy. They emit 650-1,900 lumens of natural white or warm white illumination through a frosted lens. And with color-rendering (CRI) indexes of up to 92, these lights show the true colors of fabric, objects, and surroundings. Each recessed downlight has a dimmable constant-current driver enclosed in its junction box.
Architectural LED downlights can be used to replace existing 8- or 10-inch can lights or for new construction applications. The UL-Listed LED fixtures emit up to 2,900 lumens of natural white illumination and consume no more than 40 watts of power, less than comparable 280-290 watt incandescent or halogen alternatives. Each light comes with a dimmable constant-current driver.
