The Metal Building Contractors and Erectors Association (MBCEA) recognizes Heimburger Construction Inc., Bonne Terre, Mo., as the first metal building assembler in the state to achieve the prestigious AC478 accreditation administered by the International Accreditation Service (IAS). AC478, Accreditation for Metal Building Assemblers Inspection, is a rigorous standard that recognizes contractors dedicated to excellence in metal building assembly.
Achieving this accreditation underscores Heimburger Construction’s commitment to providing a quality product through a documented management system covering safety training and metal building assembly training. The IAS requires annual reviews of manuals, documentation of training and jobsite inspections.
“IAS accreditation sets us apart from our competition and we are excited to get in on the ground level of this program,” says Jennifer Heimburger, president and owner of Heimburger Construction. “I feel that this accreditation process will help us gain market share and make us a leader in our field. Our clients strive to be the best in their field and they deserve an accredited metal building assembler.”
Art Hance, MBCEA president, remarks, “I have known Jen Heimburger for a number of years and am not surprised she sought accreditation as one more way to distinguish her company. Her commitment to safety and quality in the construction of metal buildings is now backed by her company’s adoption of IAS AC478 accreditation. Hats off to Jen and the entire team at Heimburger Construction.”
