Online Library Provides Technical Papers and Videos

Guardian Glass North America announces architects, fabricators, window manufacturers and glazing contractors now have access to a growing online library of technical papers and videos to help them design, build and work with glass.

The online library launches with technical papers containing information on topics like glass acoustics, bent glass, condensation and insulating glass units; as well as 12 videos on topics ranging from the basics of reflectivity to choosing spandrel to showing how the heat treatment process works. The page has been designed to ensure content can be shared online or downloaded and will be stocked regularly with new technical papers and videos.

“We have created this website content to be sure that our customers and channel partners have detailed information on glass technical issues that can arise,” explains Chris Dolan, commercial segment director of Guardian Glass North America. “It will bring value to our customers by delivering answers to questions on a variety of glass topics, based on Guardian’s global experience. The technical library includes comprehensive white papers to brief video soundbites. Of course, our regional technical advisors and architectural design managers are available to address follow-up questions and help on a project specific basis, but we believe this will give people the digital resource that they need, when they need it.”

This customer content is part of a series of initiatives by Guardian Glass to share knowledge and bring value to a variety of customers, partners and specifiers through enhanced online tools and collaboration.

Users will have at their fingertips glass performance and standards, important terms, definitions, standards and properties, applications, comparison charts, diagrams, tips, considerations and more.
