The Designers Lighting Forum of New York (DLFNY) announces that event registration for “LEDucation 9” is officially open. As a lighting event dedicated to advancing the education of the lighting community, LEDucation 9 will host its annual educational event and expo in New York City at the Sheraton NY Times Square hotel on March 5 and 6, 2015. LEDucation will feature a variety of new events this year, including Interior Design Docent Tours each morning; “Mission Control”, an interactive area for attendees to bring in fixtures to test with various controls and dimming; and “Light It Up”, a special reception held following the close of the show floor on Thursday evening.
LEDucation is historically one of the lighting industry’s largest tabletop exhibitions and educational events dedicated solely to the ever-evolving LED market and technology. LEDucation features a two-day expo with more than 225 leading LED manufacturers and 17 continuing education courses being held throughout the two-day event. Attendees will be able to participate in a variety of accredited educational seminars held throughout the day starting at 9 a.m. on Thursday, March 5 and Friday, March 6. These sessions are led by a variety of industry experts and will address the latest issues, developments and hot topics of the LED lighting industry. In conjunction with the seminars, a product and technology expo will be open from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday.
Advance registration is $25 for the EXPO and $10 per individual CEU Session or $50 for unlimited CEU Sessions. Expo admission is complimentary for DLF and IES members with pre-registration and membership ID required. Students are also encouraged to attend as a complimentary guest with preregistration and ID required. AIANY members also receive a discounted admission to the EXPO and CEU Sessions.
