MaxLite has introduced the next evolution of outdoor lighting with QuadroMAX Plus, an area lighting fixture that delivers modularity and functionality for the specification market.

Designed to replace metal halide fixtures from 150 to 750 watts, the series meets DesignLights Consortium (DLC) Premium 4.2 specifications and qualifies for utility rebate incentives. Building on the features associated with the original QuadroMAX, the Plus fixture provides customers with the option of changing modules in the field and mixing distributions to create custom lighting layouts for commercial, educational, retail, health care and many other types of properties. Independent LED modules interlock to create configurations from 5,600 to 39,500 lumens, while multiple optic choices (Type II, III, IV and V) enable an effective distribution pattern to be selected for any exterior lighting application. In addition, the head module containing the driver disconnects from the luminaire for product maintenance.

QuadroMAX Plus can be mounted as an area, flood or wall pack luminaire. In every wattage and distribution configuration, QuadroMAX Plus achieves efficacy of 130 lumens per watt and lumen maintenance that exceeds 100,000 hours at L90 standards. QuadroMAX Plus is issued with a 10-year warranty.

QuadroMAX Plus is available with 120-277V or 347-480V dimming drivers, and includes a 20kV surge suppressor to help protect the driver during power surges. Each luminaire can also be customized to order to include a motion sensor with remote control commissioning capability and photocontrol receptacle (NEMA 3-, 5- or 7-pin). MaxLite offers QuadroMAX Plus in a standard satin bronze finish; silver, black and white finishes are available by custom order. QuadroMAX Plus may be assembled to order in the U.S. to comply with the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).
