Pella Corp., a manufacturer and designer of windows, doors, blinds and shades for homes and commercial buildings, announced Tim Yaggi as its new president and CEO.
“We conducted an extensive, nationwide search focused on finding a proven leader with profound experience, a strong commitment to profitable growth, and who shared our culture and values,” says chairman of the board and interim president and CEO Adam Farver. “We found all of that and more with Tim Yaggi. Yaggi has demonstrated the ability to create value and drive sustained business results as well as build high-performing teams.”
Yaggi’s most recent position was chief operating officer and interim president and CEO at Tempur Sealy International. While there, he led the turnaround of the Tempur-Pedic brand through product innovation and brand-building activities. Yaggi also held a number of senior management positions at Whirlpool Corp., most recently as executive vice president, North America Market Operations.
“I truly connected with the people and the culture here at Pella Corp. during my interviews,” adds Yaggi. “It is clear team members are committed and care about this company and each other. That is why it is such an honor to be the next president and CEO. As I begin my new role, I will be focused on leveraging our solid competitive advantages and talented team to build upon Pella’s strong brand and product innovation pipeline as we continually focus on enhancing value for Pella customers.”
Yaggi and his wife, Kim, will be relocating to Pella, Iowa, from Lexington, Ky., in the near future. Yaggi received his A.B. degree in psychology from Princeton University and his M.B.A. degree from Michigan State University.
