Von Morris, by Eric Morris & Co., has announced the launch of its concealed mount pocket door hardware lock. The Von Morris concealed mount pocket door lock is available in three trim styles and is stocked in four finishes, but can be special ordered in any of 33 finish options.
Known for its craftsmanship, design, selection of raw materials, and precision machine tolerances, Von Morris has added a collection of concealed mount pocket door locks to its pocket door hardware category.
The Von Morris concealed mount pocket door collection contains three trim styles in standard 1 3/8-inch or 1 3/4-inch sizes for doors without modification. Attention to manufacturing details include a solid forged trim and thumb turn, and a 10-millimeter deep recess in the pull. The new designs, as with the entire Von Morris pocket door lock collection, include a spring loaded edge pull that pops out and prevents the design flaw of having the edge pull button right below the edge pull which tends to allow the edge pull to pop out and hit your thumb just between the fingernail and first knuckle.
As with all Von Morris pocket door hardware, the concealed mount styles were designed to ensure that the hook bolt and edge pull fit snugly to the face plate. Additionally, the strike plate has a spring loaded trap door; a dust proof strike detail that provides a clean appearance.
Stocked finishes include 618 bright nickel, 619 satin nickel, 625 bright chrome, and 626 satin chrome. However, as with all Von Morris hardware, the concealed mount pocket door locks can be custom ordered in any of the 33 available finish color options.
