The Retrofit
What was once a call center now serves as a charter high school for 300 students. The architects created a design that would establish an inviting and energizing location for learning while meeting critical structural objectives, including durability. In addition to the retrofitted location and new cladding, the school’s grounds now offer several activity spaces, including an outdoor amphitheater, a science center, picnic area and gardening discovery area.
