PCBC, the annual homebuilding trade show sponsored by the California Building Industry Association and Leading Builders of America, has opened registration for its 2017 event, returning to the San Diego Convention Center June 27-29.
PCBC will unveil its Re-Think Conference as well as popular returning forums covering Land & Capital and Multifamily Trends:
- Re-Think will take place over two days and tackle residential design, marketing and organizational leadership through innovative solutions from both inside and outside the homebuilding industry. The first day will focus on big picture trends in the economy, demographics, technology and consumer desires while the second day will apply lessons learned and drill down with topical breakout sessions.
- Land & Capital provides analysis on acquisition, development, research, investment and entitlement from a wide variety of top lenders, equity providers, brokers, builders and developers.
- Multifamily is devoted entirely to the trends and issues affecting and transforming multifamily for-rent and for-sale housing. Top leaders in that space will examine, predict and debate the road ahead.
“We are always looking for ways to evolve PCBC to meet the needs of the homebuilding industry through world class education and cutting edge products on the exhibit floor,” says Linda Baysari, senior vice president of PCBC. “This year, we’re excited for attendees and exhibitors to see the changes we’ve made to create an even more energized, interactive and rewarding experience.”
“BIA San Diego is thrilled to have PCBC returning to San Diego for 2017,” says Borre Winckel, president and chief executive officer of Building Industry Association of San Diego County, local partner of this year’s PCBC. “Our industry must Re-Think how we do business in order to continue to build and the changes in programming are ideal for many in our industry to gain knowledge.”
In addition to the newly structured conference, Steven Kotler, a New York Times bestselling author, award-winning journalist and co-founder and director of the Flow Genome Project, will join previously announced keynote speakers Adam Steltzner and Matthew Luhn in bringing a unique perspective to the business, science and art of homebuilding.
Each year, PCBC draws more than 10,000 attendees and exhibitors, serving as the nexus for the homebuilding industry. In 2017, PCBC will unite housing professionals for three days of active learning, collaboration and discovery in San Diego. Combining curated education sessions, networking opportunities and an exhibit floor, among many other features, PCBC is a forum for productive engagement.
The Building Industry Association of San Diego County will, once again, sponsor its party—The Mix—on Wednesday, June 28, beginning at 9 p.m. at Omnia Nightclub with music, drinks and food.
