Patriot Industries has received NSF/ANSI Standard 169 certification for its lines of rigid aluminum and rigid stainless steel conduit, nipples, elbows, and couplings. Patriot offers this certification for both materials, representing its commitment to the industry. Tom Click, president & CEO of Patriot Industries, comments, “Rigid aluminum and rigid stainless steel raceway products are commonly used together. With stainless steel being used in the most aggressive washdown areas, and lower cost aluminum being used in ancillary areas.”
In addition to the official NSF/ANSI 169 certification, Patriot uses only vegetable oil-based cutting fluids when manufacturing aluminum or stainless steel products. “We have many customers involved in the food and pharmaceutical industries, and our modern cutting fluids produce products which are simply much cleaner than others in the industry,” says Isabelle Puryear, inside sales director at Patriot.
Click comments, “I’m proud to offer not only the first rigid aluminum line of NSF Certified products, and the most comprehensive raceway package, but also that these offerings come from an American owned and operated family business.”
While all of the Patriot aluminum and stainless steel products are covered under the certification, new labels with the official NSF Certified Component mark will appear in the coming weeks.
