DaVinci Roofscapes has received Canadian Construction Materials Centre (CCMC) approval on its full line of roofing products. The approval, which authorizes that the company’s products meet the requirements of the National Building Code of Canada, includes the application of DaVinci products in both new construction and replacement projects.
“Third-party testing by an organization accredited by the Standards Council of Canada has provided positive results for our products, thus paving the way for their use throughout all of Canada,” says Ray Rosewall, president and CEO of DaVinci Roofscapes. “We’re pleased to attain this CCMC approval so that Canadian architects and building industry professionals can specify and install our composite roofing materials.”
DaVinci slate and shake roofing products are manufactured from a composite material made of pure resins, UV and thermal stabilizers, as well as fire retardant. The tiles are crafted with a high degree of color control and consistency. The result is an roof that performs in any climate.
Each DaVinci tile has been crafted to resist impact and fire, along with high winds, mold, algae, fungus and insects. The tiles also defy fading, rotting and cracking. Each tile lives up to the look of nature, but does so without the ongoing hassles of maintenance, repairs and replacement.
“We offer our composite slate and shake tiles in dozens of colors and color blends,” says Rosewall. “Our product is engineered to specific tolerances that meet a composite formula for performance.
“Having our building construction materials approved for use throughout Canada assures that Canadians have access to roofing materials that are durable.”
The team members at DaVinci Roofscapes develop and manufacture polymer slate and shake roofing systems with performance. DaVinci offers a selection of colors, tile thickness and tile width variety.
Its products have a limited lifetime warranty and are 100 percent recyclable. All DaVinci roofing products are made in America where the company is a member of the National Association of Home Builders, the National Association of Roofing Contractors, the Cool Roof Rating Council and the U.S. Green Building Council.
