STACK Construction Technologies, a cloud-based preconstruction software, has announced its integration with Procore, a provider of construction management software. The integration, referred to as the Procore STACK Connector, keeps users of both systems up-to-date by syncing their drawings, specs, and other project documents in real-time, even with the constant flow of changes that happen from project to project.
“In my experience, change is inevitable. This especially applies to construction,” explains Phil Ogilby, CEO of STACK. “Because RFIs, change orders, and schedule changes are commonplace, it’s crucial to keep all parties working on the most up-to-date documentation. Keeping your entire construction team aligned is easier said than done, but this integration allows us to alleviate some of that pain.”
STACK wants to help project managers and general contractors assess and quantify the impact of a change on a subcontractor’s scope of work or particular material delivery. With this integration, users will save time and reduce the risk of missing a change by having every drawing, spec, and document in their Procore account, available for takeoff in STACK. The integration eliminates the hassle of downloading and organizing drawings on your computer for takeoff while also helping users be certain that they’re always pulling quantities from the latest plans.
“At Procore, we look to improve customer workflows throughout all construction phases,” says Procore Business Development Director Kristopher M. Lengieza. “The integration between Procore and STACK will help our users accelerate their preconstruction process by referencing bid documents, site photos, specs and other documents hosted on our platform, directly in STACK.”
Many construction professionals are using Procore to manage the constant flow of change orders, RFIs, site observations, and schedule changes. The integration with STACK will ensure that users and their trade partners understand the impact of each change by using the Procore STACK connector to keep their project documents up-to-date directly inside of their preconstruction hub, where completing updated takeoffs are critical.
