Karndean Designflooring is reintroducing its entry-level 12mil Knight Tile product range to offer the full selection of designs in an additional rigid core format, along with creating new visuals for the range.
Introduced to the U.S. market in 1998 as a gluedown range, Knight Tile grew to offer a diverse mix of effortlessly stylish wood species and natural stones with universal appeal. Today’s Knight Tile range includes 14 woods sized 36 by 6 inches and 10 stones sized 12 by 18 inches, with all visuals available in both gluedown and rigid core constructions. Specify and design with the gluedown format for areas where a fully adhered product or intricate layouts are preferred and choose rigid core for applications that require enhanced acoustics.
The latest designs to join the range were developed from concrete, Carrara marble, Northern European oak and character oak pieces reclaimed from a wind-powered sawmill in Amsterdam. New colorways of the range’s existing Lake District slate design and Scandinavian pine design are also now available.
The company has also made two Knight Tile designs – Pale and Mid Limed Oaks – available in a 48- by 9-inch chevron plank format. Easily incorporate a classic chevron pattern into projects without the added time of making cuts on site; and for an even faster install, opt for the rigid core format. Another design element that aims to reduce install time is the addition of a painted bevel on all Knight Tile rigid core stones.
Knight Tile products are well-suited for multifamily units, dormitories, small offices, specialty retail shops and other light commercial applications. All Knight Tile products include a 10-year commercial warranty.
