Tile of Spain Members Debut Collections at International Ceramic Tile Fair

Tile of Spain, the association of Spanish ceramic tile manufacturers, recently debuted new product collections at CEVISAMA 2017, the International Ceramic Tile Fair, in Valencia, Spain. From graphic patterns and scalloped shapes, to oxidized metal and distressed wood look effects, the new tile collections bring design to a whole other level.

Highlights of the spring tile trends and new Tile of Spain products showcased at CEVISAMA 2017 include:

Bestile Cala Dark

Bestile Cala Dark

Inspired by marble from ancient Greek and Roman times, Bestile Cala Dark is a classical pattern that exudes natural beauty. This 60 by 120 porcelain tile offers the purity and refinement of a white marble in a durable tile.

CAS Ceramica presents a new collection designed by American graphic designer David Carson. Inspired by Carson’s home in the Caribbean—the sun, surf, ocean, moon and stars—the collection of 20 by 20 centimeter tiles combines graphic illustrations with glossy, intense blues and whites.

Coralstone from Equipe draws its inspiration from the naturalness of stone to the point of irregularity in the finish in a smooth way. With matte and non-slip finishes, it is porcelain stoneware of great graphic variation that imitates the natural stone with inserts of corals and fossils. Available in 8- by 8-inch square and 11 1/2- by 10-inch hexagon formats in gray and black.

The Gayafores Olson series features soft neutral tones of white, grey and honey. This Nordic style wood-look tile offers the appearance of untreated wood with water damage but in a beautiful, natural way. The 15- by 90-cm board format can be installed in a variety of ways, including in herringbone patterns.

The wide range of Grespania Coverlam products expands with the rich metallic texture of the new Industrial series in Corten and Iron colors. This series closely recalls the look of metal sheets that have been exposed to the elements. Available in 3.5 millimeter and 5.6 mm thicknesses and 100 by 300 cm and 120 by 260 cm formats, Coverlam Industrial is an ideal material providing state-of-the-art architectural design solutions.

Metropol Track Oxido

Also inspired by metal, this time by the fusion of metals, Metropol introduces the Track collection of large format tiles in line with the latest urban trends. Suitable for interiors and exteriors, the new product line brings all of the unique characteristics of metal into ceramic tile.

Scallop shapes are abundant in the Art Escama collection from Natucer. The series of extruded tile evokes the movement of waves in drop shaped ceramics with different surfaces that play with tridimensional effect. Also from Natucer is the hexagon-shaped Dual collection that features two different finishes: a flat hexagon tile and a 3-D double hexagon tile with an interior crackle effect.

Peronda presents Foresta Sawncut. An original wood-effect porcelain tile collection, it is inspired directly by the work of British artist Tom Raffield, a trendsetter in the use of wood for lighting and furniture collections.

Vives Portofino Cement

Tau Ceramica welcomes more formats, more shapes and more trendsetting ideas in three collections: Concept, Ascale and Atelier. These new collections allow for creativity and push the boundaries in any design.

Inspired by 15th century artisan Venetian technique, the new VIVES Portofino porcelain tile collection mimics a stracciato effect. Available in a variety of colors, sizes and finishes the Portofino collection is perfect for both floors and walls.
