Building materials dealers and manufacturers now have easier access to VERSATEX PVC architectural trim, thanks to a new distribution agreement between VERSATEX and Snavely Forest Products of Greensboro, N.C.
The Snavely location will provide the complete VERSATEX line, including trimboards, sheet, bead board, and moldings, and proprietary specialty items such as the innovative VERSATEX soffit system.
Headquartered in Pittsburgh, Snavely has been a leader in wholesale distribution since 1902. The Greensboro location will serve all of North Carolina, most of South Carolina and southeastern Virginia.
Brian Kirit, Snavely’s general manager, says, “Our customers are among the world’s finest professional and DIY retailers—independent dealers, home centers, door and window shops and molding and millwork manufacturers. With them in mind, we’re happy to be making VERSATEX products and expertise more widely available.
According to VERSATEX vice president of sales Rick Kapres: “Both Snavely and VERSATEX share a deep concern for products with environmental benefits. Our PVC components require comparatively little energy to manufacture, and their long service life means that, once they’re installed, they won’t be going anywhere near a landfill.
