Known as a provider of press technology and training for the commercial, residential and industrial plumbing, heating and cooling industries, Viega will proactively help customers make the switch to polymer PEX solutions.

Viega PEX Press solutions offer the Smart Connect feature, which allows installers to easily identify unpressed connections. The factory-assembled fittings feature attached stainless steel sleeves and are made from Radel R, high-performance polymer.

“The goal of the Make the Switch program is to help customers stay on track and on time with their PEX projects,” says Paige Riddle, product manager, Viega. “For anyone needing help switching to Viega PEX Press products, redesigning specs or identifying the best solution for their projects, we’re here to help.”

Viega offered the first press system for the PEX market with fittings that improve consistency and reduce installation errors with factory-attached sleeves. Viega PEX Press in high-performance polymer and Viega Zero Lead Bronze are available in 3/8- to 2-inch sizes and are ideal for residential and commercial applications. Viega also provides copper-to-PEX transition fittings with system-matched tools and jaws.
