Crestline Windows and Doors is pleased to offer its Select 250 Series premium vinyl windows with a choice of 60 exterior painted colors, including three designer metallic finishes. The expanded exterior color palette is the result of strong interest in the 8 initially offered, standard paint colors. The colors can be applied to any of the three frame colors, white, almond or ivory, allowing homeowners to choose an interior color from the three, which remains visible after the exterior is painted.
The 60 color choices include 8 standard colors: white, almond, ivory, desert tan, terra bronze, dark bronze, brown and jet black. The 48 custom colors are the same as those offered on the Crestline Select aluminum clad windows and doors. The three metallic colors include: silver ice, light gold and antique bronze.
Crestline uses specially formulated paint with ‘solar reflective technology’ to apply to its windows. The paint works to reflect solar rays, preventing heat build-up that previously could have damaged vinyl windows. The polyurethane enamel provides a durable surface that offers great resistance to abrasion, marring and chemicals. It is designed to meet the stringent performance requirements for the AAMA 614 specification. The paint finish on Select 250 products is warranted for 10 years against adhesion failures and excessive color change.
The Select 250 Series is available in single and double hung, single slider, casement, bays and bows, and specialty-shaped windows, and traditional sliding patio doors. Each has a multi-chambered frame engineered to add strength and insulating performance to the units. Fusion-welded corners ensure the products’ rigidity and durability.
Window finishing accessories such as a mull cover connector, drip cap, j-channel, vinyl brickmould and stucco adapter snap easily into a convenient, built-in exterior accessory channel. Hardware is color-coordinated to the units’ interior color.
