VT Industries is expanding its line of acoustical doors to offer higher Sound Transmission Class (STC) ratings—now ranging from 28 to 49 with more than 122 new door configurations available.
VT creates acoustical doors that meet STC requirements for a wide variety of applications, including use in schools, universities, libraries, government buildings, private offices, auditoriums, theaters, hotels and hospitals.
“Sound Transmission is a problem for every building, and controlling it should be a major consideration for every builder,” says Jason Farver, vice president of the Architectural Wood Door Division for VT Industries. “VT takes sound control seriously. Our acoustical doors are engineered with innovative core technology to absorb sound, and they are finished to radiate architectural style.”
“VT acoustical doors are independent, third-party laboratory tested according to rigorous standards,” Farver says. “We pay attention to every detail to ensure consistent quality in each door that carries the VT name.”
