Kirei has launched the Wood Collection for Kirei Ink, custom-printed acoustic recycled PET panels and products that speak volumes without making a sound.
Kirei Ink’s Wood Collection brings the warmth of natural wood inside and combines it with the acoustic performance of PET. The collection features five different types of printed wood — Pine, White Wash, Dark Walnut, Gray Wash, and Dark Oak — to enjoy the look of natural wood without the harsh sounds of hard surfaces.
With creative direction from esteemed industrial designer Michael DiTullo, creator for some of the world’s best brands for over 20 years (Nike, Google, Honda, Converse, Motorola, etc.), the Kirei Ink program will feature a curated library of 48 prints over four collections to inspire designers through the visualization of Kirei’s new endless customization possibilities of colors, patterns, graphics, and materials.
Kirei Ink is printed on PET felt panels made from 60 percent post-consumer recycled PET with numerous environmental certifications and is printed using water-soluble, Greenguard-certified PROGRAPHIC UV ink. Each panel recycles over 200 plastic water bottles, keeping plastic waste out of our waterways and landfills.
Kirei Ink is 100 percent customizable and printed in-house so that any print can be applied to Kirei’s products, including baffles, clouds, wall tiles, and more, giving designers endless possibilities to reduce noise in any interior space.
