As part of its expansion in Europe, Armstrong Fluid Technology GmbH has introduced Michael Schulz as the sales director for continental Europe where he leads the company’s growth within this region.
As sales director for continental Europe, M. Schulz is a strategic leader within the Armstrong Fluid Technology sales team. He will manage the new European sales teams in Germany, Hungary and France. M. Schulz is reporting directly to Joachim Schulz, global commercial director, Building Business.
M. Schulz joined Armstrong Fluid Technology after more than a decade with a Danish pump manufacturer, where he was employed in a senior sales management role with responsibility for the wholesale business in Germany. He brings to the company several years of sales and sales management experience in the building services sector.
“I’m excited to be part of the Armstrong Fluid Technology team and supporting its expansion throughout Europe,” says M. Schulz. “We are now uniquely positioned to supply high-quality, high efficiency solutions for both commercial and domestic customers in Europe through our new office in Mannheim where we have established a Center of Excellence for the Armstrong product portfolio.”
Today Armstrong has more than 1,100 employees, operates seven manufacturing facilities worldwide and is considered an innovator in the design, engineering and manufacturing of intelligent fluid flow systems.
With expertise in fluid dynamics, heat transfer, variable speed, and demand-based control solutions, Armstrong Fluid Technology specializes in HVAC, plumbing and fire safety technology.
The Mannheim, Germany, office follows the late 2017 acquisition of the circulator pump business unit of German-based HALM Motors + Systems GmbH, a provider of circulator pumps for heating, solar, geothermal and domestic hot water applications.
