Designed with energy efficiency in mind, Cambridge Engineering has introduced a new line of Blow-Thru Direct Gas-Fired Space Heaters, called the Cambridge SA-Series, that were built to efficiently and safely space heat smaller commercial and industrial facilities.
The new line of space heaters, uses the same proven technology as the larger ultra high efficiency Cambridge S-Series, but is sized for smaller applications. The S-Series is documented to achieve 40-70 percent energy savings over other unit heaters or traditional boiler applications. Computer modeling shows the SA-Series will achieve similar savings, providing a quick payback on equipment and installation costs. The units may qualify for additional energy rebates through local utility providers.
Utilizing 100 percent outside air for efficient direct gas-fired heating, these heaters employ a proprietary stainless steel burner mounted downstream of the air blower. The high-velocity blower minimizes stratification and increases throw, providing even comfort throughout the building. Additionally, the blower can be used to provide summer or winter ventilation. The SA-Series achieves 100 percent combustion efficiency with no heat exchange or flue losses. They produce 160oF maximum allowable output temperatures.
The SA-Series provides the commercial and industrial marketplace with an affordable ultra efficiency space heater for customers concerned with energy conservation in smaller facilities. The apparent simplicity of this heater hides the fact that it incorporates several patented and proprietary technologies, to provide legendary Cambridge dependability and energy efficiency. The SA-Series was designed for efficiency, fast payback, dependability and safety. As with other Cambridge heaters, the stainless steel burners are warranted for five full years with all other components warranted for two years.
