Larson Electronics has released a 58-watt low-profile LED light fixture that provides operators with a powerful and energy-efficient alternative to traditional hazardous-location luminaries.

The ATEX-EPL-LP-58W-LED low-profile light fixture features LED technology and a compact design that makes this lamp an upgrade option for older, bulky, high-maintenance cost fixtures. This ATEX Zone 1 and Zone 2 light fixture provides 6,000 lumens of high-quality light while drawing only 58 watts of power. It is available in 360- and 180-degree beam spreads. The copper-free aluminum alloy body is powder-coated for added durability and an attractive aesthetic appearance. The aluminum body and LED lamp assembly gives this light durability and resistance to vibration and impacts.

The housing is specially designed to dissipate heat, which increases the efficiency and life span of the LED emitters. A special heat-dissipating design in conjunction with LED technology helps this fixture achieve a 100,000-hour rated life span with 70 percent lumen retention. This solid-state design of light emitting diodes provides a reliable, stable, durable and energy-efficient light source over traditional lighting. This fixture is available in several mounting configurations including ceiling mounting, pendant mounting, wall mounting and cable mounting. This light is multi-voltage capable and can be operated with 100-277 volts AC without any need for a ballast or transformer.
