Galaxy Control Systems is adding to its growing list of partners by integrating with Invixium to offer biometric access control solutions. The combination of its Galaxy access control and security management platform with Invixium MERGE, MYCRO, SENSE and TOUCH products will deliver biometric solutions in a variety of configurations to the market at a reduced price point.
“This partnership grew from the demand for this product from our Middle East and African region integrators,” says Rick Caruthers, executive VP, Galaxy Control Systems. “System Galaxy’s integration with Invixium biometric readers will make it possible for integrators to deploy these solutions to clients around the world. Therefore, we have decided to become a global reseller of Invixium products.”
Engineered and designed with the user in mind, Invixium IP-enabled biometric solutions feature technology that provides results. By leveraging fingerprint sensor technologies, including multispectral imaging, active thermal and high resolution optical, Invixium is able to craft a suite of products with performance in indoor applications as well as in outdoor environments. Invixium biometric development expertise has also made provisions for sensor interoperability among all three options, allowing the freedom to enroll users on any device with seamless authentication across a mix of products on the same network.

System Galaxy, an access control and management solution, integrates security and building management functions. Additional features include active directory support to enable real-time identity management, individualized identity-based door access, and the ability to generate reports for each screen view or credential holder. Data can be shared with other systems such as time and attendance, visitor management, time clocks, parking garages and personal messaging. System Galaxy accommodates unlimited users and is also accessible from mobile web browsers, and is designed for backward compatibility with all legacy Galaxy systems.
