Insulfoam has introduced Platinum graphite polystyrene (GPS) insulation. GPS is a new class of insulation made with BASF’s Neopor, a rigid foam that integrates high-purity graphite into the polymer matrix. The result is insulation with insulating R-values that increase as the temperature decreases. The insulation is affordable, offers stable long-term R-values and is vapor permeable, which makes it breathable. It is available as InsulWall Platinum (unfaced) and R-Tech Platinum (faced) for wall sheathing systems, continuous insulation, EIFS and stucco systems, pre-cast or tilt-up walls, and structural insulated panels.
