The HVAC/R controls store is now offering contractors and facility managers new features on the site, which include automatic reordering capabilities, cross-reference, training videos, “also bought” highlights for each product, and so much more. In addition to the latest website features, Controls Central has also released its new electronic fall/winter catalog, which includes more products than ever before. The main objective is to make the Controls Central experience as convenient as possible for customers to get back to their projects faster.
This winter Controls Central will be offering big sales on the heating supplies that contractors and facility managers will need before the winter season hits. Thermostats, restring kits, and burners are among the products that have already been top sellers on the website.
Although Controls Central is an online store, many customers call the company directly to get a live voice over the phone to answer their questions. As part of the experience, customer service representatives make it a priority to understand customer needs by building relationships and following up with them on a regular basis. “Customers call to ask for me by name,” says Dominic Porte, Controls Central product manager. “It’s about being ‘their store’—not just any HVAC/R business out there. We strive to know our customers on a personal level and provide what they need before they even have to ask—that’s what drives us.”
