The concept of the Incoplas LED Hybrid fixture was derived from Shat-R-Shield’s customers’ desire to outfit an entire facility with a uniform look for all light sources while maintaining performance requirements in adverse elements. The versatility of the Hybrid housing appeals to the architectural audience, while the durability of the material withstands exposure to moisture, dust, chemicals and sanitation processes typical of industrial applications. Shat-R-Shield’s core markets of food processing, packaging, cosmetic and pharmaceutical manufacturing demand certifications that meet requirements set forth by NSF and USDA. The fixture is UL, cUL, UL Wet Location, and DLC certified. Other ratings include IP69K, IP66, NEMA 4X, NEMA 5, UL 1598 and UL 1598A.
As part of the Incoplas line of LED fixtures, Hybrid is designed with conductive engineered polymers, manufactured specifically for performance and durability in harsh environments. The natural convection of the engineered polymer material offers heat dissipation for thermal management of the LEDs and drivers while minimizing costs. It provides chemical and corrosion resistance, as well as a reduction in weight over comparable aluminum fixtures.
Weighing in at less than eight pounds, the Incoplas Hybrid design is made for one-person installation. Mounting options include: surface, trunnion surface, pendant, wall pack, adjustable wall pack, pole and flood, all of which include a mounting template and leveling tool inside the hinged junction box to facilitate the electrical contractor.
With an efficiency of 111 plus lumens per watt, the Incoplas Hybrid LED fixture replaces 100W and 250W metal halide lamps. All variations are 0-10V dimmable, powered by a 120-277V universal driver, have a L70 lifetime greater than 60,000 hours and operate in temperatures of -22F up to 122F in certain models. Hybrid is proudly manufactured at Shat-R-Shield’s North Carolina facility using globally and domestically sourced components and is backed by a five-year warranty.
