Crestron has debuted the new DALI network-based system control, adding asset tracking and configurable programming to its award-winning Zum wireless lighting control platform. The major enhancements make it even easier to design, set up, and manage Zum wireless lighting control systems.
Benefits of the Zum enhancements:
Asset tracking: Managers can now track building assets natively from a networked Zum system, including medical equipment, facility and maintenance equipment, AV and IT equipment, as well as staff and visitors. Real-time location can now be monitored via the Zum Hub. Zum also now supports data collection for cloud-based reporting and management.
Configurable programming: Zum now provides more programming flexibility along with support for more advanced programming of Zum keypads. Additionally, Zum can now interface with third-party devices via an RS-232 bridge.
DALI control: A new single loop wireless DALI controller interfaces with the full Zum architecture and head end network and works with the award-winning Crestron SolarSync automatic outdoor daylight and color temperature sensor.
Lighting control made easy
Zum is a simple wireless lighting control system. Each device is thoughtfully engineered to work together seamlessly. Setup is as easy as “pair and play” with a tap of the dimmer or keypad, or from the iPhone or Android app. Even better, Zum is affordable and highly scalable. Start with one space, or several. Even add centralized network management.
