Neolith has launched a digital platform, Neolith Virtual Experience. This tool brings its collection of over 50 colors and finishes from the showroom direct to the customer home.
Ongoing and consistent innovative tech investment has been at the heart of the brand. Adoption of innovative systems has helped Neolith become a sustainable building material.
Beyond the manufacturing process, upgrading and updating sales and marketing tools are crucial to engaging with the needs and requirements of their modern audience.
The ongoing COVID pandemic has impacted face-to-face engagement, meaning more remote and digital methods are needed to bring the material to customers’ attention. As such, Neolith has focused research and investment on developing its online platforms even further to create this suite of interactive and immersive features, bringing the brand to life digitally and making it accessible to all.
Enhance to Advance
The first of these new developments is Neolith AR. This is an Augmented Reality (AR) app which allows the user to dress any residential or commercial space with a pattern from the Neolith collection. Achieved with either a photograph in real-time or one from the device’s gallery, it combines different functionalities to deliver maximum levels of realism, regardless of your location when using the app. Perspective, Zoom and Brightness toggles provide a render which is as realistic as possible.
The Neolith AR app is available to download on Google Play or the Apple App Store in four languages (Spanish, English, French and German) and is compatible with all smartphone and tablet devices.
The Virtue of Virtual
The second of the innovations is Neolith VR, a series of Virtual Reality (VR) tours allowing users to discover and combine the brand’s surfaces and various finishes in a 360 degree environment. These tours, which present a holistic specification of the Sintered Stone slabs, offer a similar experience to visiting one of Neolith’s stands at a trade fair or expo in person. Therefore if you’re unable to attend the tradeshow, Neolith have the capabilities to bring the show to you, keeping you updated with the latest design trends, virtually.
Similar to the Neolith AR App, Neolith VR is also available on Google Play and the Apple App Store. The platform has been designed to allow the user to switch between the two, depending on preference and location.
A pair of exclusively designed cardboard VR viewers will further enhance the experience and can be ordered when the app is downloaded.
The Show Must Go On
Over the last five years, Neolith has launched a number of Urban Boutiques (NUB) across the world. These showrooms have been designed to present the material in creative ways. With the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, design professionals and consumers are less able to visit these spaces. However, Neolith has engineered a solution. As part of the platform, which combines Neolith AR and VR, users can also visit all NUBs globally. From London to Dusseldorf, Madrid to Milan, Shenzhen to Medellin, these locations encapsulate the potential of the surface to be applied according to any brief.
Commenting on the Neolith Virtual Experience App, CMO Mar Esteve Cortes says, “We have a long history of continual investment in digital research and development to ensure all aspects of the Neolith brand remain relevant to our audience and ahead of the curve, however, COVID-19 changed our approach.
“Like many other companies, we had to evolve to a new landscape. Having previously relied heavily on events and expos to reach our audience, we realized we needed to create new tools to provide an alternative. With many of these exhibitions cancelled and uncertainty around next year’s schedule, we decided to bring the experience directly to our customers, available 24/7, 365 days a year. With combined AR and VR capabilities, we feel the Neolith Virtual Experience gives a truly comprehensive snapshot of the brand and its materials, as near as we can currently come to observing the material in reality. Excitingly, this is only the beginning for us, as we plan to add further features to these apps with a final goal of eventually hosting our own events and tradeshows, allowing us to bring everyone together, virtually.”
